About the Book
Earle Martin learned more about love and humanity from his autistic grandson, Charlie, than he ever did as an Episcopal priest or licensed therapist. Although his own depression left him fearful he didn’t have enough to give to Charlie, Earle discovered that Charlie had enough in him to save Earle’s life. Earle lectures widely, and his story won the Barbara Jordan Award for its portrayal of people with differences. Proceeds go to The Brookwood Community for adults with functional disabilities.
